Well, as far as I can tell, it's something that haeneppd once, at one event (a Skepticamp in Ohio). You're talking as if this sort of thing is endemic at every skeptical event, which is rather illogical and non-skeptical.If you're trying to infer that TAM is some sort of  maladjusted creeper convention , I should point out Skepchick's gushing praise of the last TAM as being  great for women  and how they felt so safe there. It's all there on the blog from just after the last TAM. Surely you can understand why so many are questioning the about-face in the last 11 months. The upcoming TAM has a 50/50 male/female speaker ratio, which is hardly the sort of thing done by a group that wants a sausage-fest. I've never been to TAM, but I've been to a number of skeptic events and they haven't been full of maladjusted creepers. I've never know of any sexual harassment going on at any event I've been to. So I think I can be pardoned if I wonder if you're not blowing a few events out of proportion.Seriously, you're acting as if skeptic events are cesspools of vice and debauchery, and I'm left wondering if you've ever actually been to any. Your postings are full of sweeping generalizations that are impossible to take seriously, and seem to be the result of emotion and prejudice rather than reason. You sound like someone with an axe to grind with many people in the skeptical community, and I wonder why.

I think this is a good picture of Starfire. I would love it if you made more picutres of Starfire. And all of you guys who are saying this is a bad picture, I bet none of you guys could do any better. Tram works real hard on these picutres and It's kinda weird to see random people cussing at him and threatning to cancel their subscriptions while he is working hard.

Candid is fun to play with, isn't it. Can capture how polepe behave in public. I love taking photos of kids. Sometimes, i get the very curious look from their parents, but i just smile and go. XD There was once, an old ah pek scolded me when i didn't even take his photo. =.= 'That's the Kino at orchard ne? Am going to go this coming tues to get Jump.And, yeah. Neoprint is the word for it. Very expensive, yet fun. Used to take lotsa them during my secondary days. Actually regarding the photo about the shutter, it's better in this way. Usually for candid, we will have an idea in mind what do we want as our subject. In the particular photo, i believe the subject is the group of youngsters. So, with a  blurred' background, it brings out the subject. Just my thoughts, hope you don't mind. ^.^
